So yesterday I went to the hospital for a growth scan and to book my induction for Wednesday (I’m currently 39 weeks pregnant). They gave me a stretch and sweep while I was there, they said I was 2/3cm dilated and about 50/60% effaced. They told me the sweep was a very successful sweep. All day I have been having on and off cramping, and went to the toilet to find a large piece of my mucus plug had come away. I was just wondering how long after a sweep did people go into labour? ,or does it not work
