Do i have to worry about my baby smothering or rebreathing while breastfeeding?

I worry that my baby’s nose gets blocked by my breast while feeding. Is this something I have to worry about or will my baby know to unlatch if they can’t breathe?

It's a reason babies nose are shaped as they are, but you you should pay attention while feeding - regardless of breast or bottle. And you learn to listen to their breathing and swallowing while feeding, so you will know if something is off.

I always pull my breast back a little bit to clear baby's nose after latch

I was taught at the hospital to pull the breast tissue backs but from their nose while they nurse. It won’t be a problem once they’re bigger. I only had to do this when my son was newborn.
