HSG procedure and Pregnancy

Lorena • Momma and Wife 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 everything will come in due time 🤍

It’s a long story but I’ll try to sum it up.

I have 2 kids, son is 3 and daughter is turning 2 in December.

My husband and I always wanted a big family 4-6 kids.

So we agreed to start trying when my daughter turned 1 (Dec 2021) so start in January 2022. No luck so far.

Went to OBGYN in April 2022 for women’s exam but also to talk about fertility and my options. Dr advised us we use MucinexD or red dye robutssin around ovulation. No luck.

Went back in recently on Oct 2022. Go referral for HSG and semen analysis. Scheduled 11/4/22 for both. Went in, got HSG done. Results: blocked tubes. More in the left but part of the right. Next option would be IVF. Did ask about what is blocking , fertility Dr thinks it could endometriosis (based on periods when I was a teen-BUT my period are nothing like that anymore so idk).

Turned out I have the problem not my husband. Also confirmed about my bicorunate uterus. I was shocked, thousands of questions. Left crying and frustrated.

Called OBGYN and made appointment to talk about result and if there were really any other option than IVF. Options were: re-do HSG with Valium in case tubes are contracting and spasming. (Waiting for my period to set date).

But as Im waiting for period, I’ve read that sometimes the dye will flush out the tubes and clear them out. Would that be shown during HSG or just happen after HSG?

I’m wondering if this has happened to anyone and gotten pregnant. I’m still

Holding on to hope but at the same time I don’t want to give myself false hope.

Here’s a picture of HSG.

10 shows more of the right and 4 shows more of the left. Left is marked with L.

I’m also 8dpo and took a pregnancy test based on symptoms. Anyone see anything?
