Mid range ovulation? Dr blood test results

I’ve been TTC for 2 years just started speaking to dr and he’s said I can get fertility help to ovulate as the last two blood test first showed I didn’t ovulate and the second he said they couldn’t determine if I did or didn’t but it was better results than first “midrange”.

Before I can go on these tablets my partner needs a sperm test we know he has a low count but dr said he needs to have a certain level before I can go on the tablets.

Does this all sound right I was tempted to ask for further blood work but not sure really feel a bit overwhelmed!
