C-section pain
I had my first c-section a week and a half ago. Ever since I had the surgery the middle of the incision to the right side of the incision and down into the pubic area I had had a burning and stinging sensation. At first it only happened if I did too much moving. Ibuprofen and the occasional percocet seemed to work well for the pain. However, ever since this past Sunday night, I am experiencing this pain every time I get up and get moving. I'm up for less than 5 minutes and the pain returns. The incision stings when I shower. I made an appointment with one of the doctors at my obs office on Tuesday of this week. He checked my incision and said everything looked perfect. It wasn't red, swollen, warm to the touch, or oozing. I asked if it was possible to have an internal infection but he said since I didn't have a fever or anything it was unlikely. I also mentioned when I took off the mesh underwear there was a tiny speck of blood on the right side. And I mentioned that sometimes the bleeding increased, especially at night, when I had brown spotting previously. The nurses at the hospital told me it shouldn't be going back and forth. The doctor told me to take Tylenol as well for the pain. I have been alternating ibuprofen 600 and 1000mg of Tylenol and it still doesn't help with the pain. I refuse to keep taking pain killers all the time. The pain level hasn't increased but the frequency at which its happening has. Has anyone else experience the same thing? I've been trying to Google it and Google said possible nerve damage? I just want the pain to stop. The pain goes away once I sit down but I sit so much my butt is starting to hurt. I have my two week follow up appointment with my regular ob who did the surgery next week so I plan to bring it up again. But I'm just worried something is wrong and I have lost hope it's going to get better
