Am I an asshole if I say no?

Amber

So my friend whom is a good friend of mine and I care a lot about asked me if I could take on her 3 guinea pigs for 1 week so she can hide them from her roomate's landlord.

Mind you I am currently 33 weeks pregnant with twins and have complications. I also just got rid of my guinea pigs because no matter what I did they were attracting flies and I just finally got all of that under control.

I could be delivering anytime but hopefully in 3 or 4 more weeks and am still getting everything rearranged in my house for their arrival and have 2 other small boys to care for.

Initially when she asked I said no... Then she seemed upset and I said if there are any other possibilities then I really don't want to take them as I feel like it's too much for my household right now.

Well, she hasn't said anything else about it and after asking my husband he also gave it a hard NO.

She called me today and I suspect that it's the reason she called. I had missed the call but told her to message me when she can. Am I an asshole for telling her I really can't do it? I hate to leave her in a tight spot but at the same time I have my own BIG things going on and her pets are not my responsibility. I hate saying no but I can't do this right now. Any advice or help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance y'all!
