Thanksgiving - stay home?

Question

What is everyone doing for thanksgiving being so close to due dates? I would love to see family, or have family over, or even go out to eat but… I’m thinking with this time of year and Covid, maybe it’s best to just stay in and stay home, to avoid getting potentially sick during labor. 
What are your plans ?

I had my December baby early at 35 weeks on Tuesday. So, we will be staying home.

I’m debating the same thing! I was hoping little man would make an appearance before thanksgiving but he’s stirring comfy in there so I’m debating going or not :/

Take my advice and stay home! I was supposed to be induced next Monday but instead was diagnosed with COVID this Monday. It’s a miserable way to spend the end of your pregnancy. It’s spreading like wildfire right now. Plus the flu and RSV. Stay home and stay healthy!

Staying home. My husband might run to some family's houses he is feeling the pressure of the family members trying to guilt trip us.

The plan is to spend it with my in-laws. They live 2 miles from us, and my MIL already watches my toddlers while I work. Any germs either of us have have already been passed back and forth.

Normally we travel about 2.5 hours to my in-laws house and do a big Thanksgiving with extended family. This year we aren't traveling, they are coming out near us to my brother in laws house, and just doing my husband's parents and brother and his girlfriend. Low key and close to home.

Spending thanksgiving with family friends. Their kids and our kids already commingle every week so I’m not too worried about catching anything new from them. And I do NOT feel like doing that much cooking.
