My husband and I have been ttc since after his sister’s wedding in July (but we haven’t told anyone that we’re trying). His sister told me that their plan was to start trying after a year. Well, she unexpectedly got pregnant but miscarried in the same week that she found out. Even though it wasn’t a planned pregnancy, she is very sad and wants to start trying again when her doctor clears her in 3 months. Now I’m wondering if it would look like we’re trying to compete if we succeeded in conceiving before she does. Of course there’s no guarantee that we will.
