Why do people keep spreading wrong information, rsv is not passed through kissing , it’s airborne meaning if your child is in the same room as someone who is sick they can catch it. Rsv is given to a baby by someone who has a common cold , it turns into RSV for kids 5 and under. Everyone is worried about kissing when they should just keep there baby and any child under 5 away from everyone who is sick even if it’s something minor. Of course people shouldn’t be kissing a baby with out a parents permission and even then it should be done over clothing. Cracks in a new baby’s skin can be an entrance to germs leading to other sickness or infections.

My son had RSV and it was rough, he was placed in icu on a cpap because he was struggling, if your sick stay home and away from baby’s and kids in general!!!
