I thought it was pronounced she-uh until you mentioned the actor now I know it’s shy-uh. At first glance though I thought of chia pet, I know it’s not spelled the same nor pronounced but that just came to mind.

My nephew is Shia...at first yes thats what I thought of, but now Im just used to him being Shia and dont think of the actor. Another spelling is Shaya.
