Confused....

So I have done 3 rounds of letrozole to no avail. Today was my first appointment with a fertility specialist. They did an ultrasound along with tons of blood work. The ultrasound showed my left ovary with no follicles and 1 cyst. My right showed many follicles and no cysts. What does it mean when I have follicles on only one side? The fact that she said "the right one is normal unlike the left" and I was just so nervous/anxious that I didn't ask questions.
