Sharp intense pain in vagina

I woke up last night to feeling a really sharp and intense pain in my vagina, and it even felt like it was in my butt a bit. The pain lasted for about 10 mins til it dulled down and i was able to fall back asleep. It feels ok this morning, a little bit of minor cramping. No blood or spotting (yet - crossing my fingers). But that definitely scared me as I’ve had a history of miscarriages (but they’ve never felt like that before). I am 8 weeks pregnant. Any ideas what this was?

Also I had lightning crotch when I was pregnant with my daughter but this was more intense than I remember and it was a lasting pain, I thought lightning crotch only lasted a couple seconds (that’s how it was for me anyway). This was a lasting pain
