Metformin

So I just started metformin hydrochloride 500 prescribed by my dermatologist for a skin condition. I heard metformin is supposed to make you ovulate like crazy and balance hormones and help fertility. So I'm wondering if it will help me conceive also ! I'm taking it for a skin condition but hey if it helps fertility too then BONUS right ?! Has this medication help anyone here convince will this help my fertility?
