If you're overdue for pap smear you definitely need to have a pap smear during your pregnancy at some point and that's the only reason they would be doing a pelvic exam in early pregnancy. You don't have to have your legs shaved or do anything to get an exam in pap smear and it's more important than worrying about shaving your legs so just don't shave your legs if you don't feel like it because they're doctors, they don't care, and go to your appointment and get your exam and pap smear.
