COVID separation 😢

I am currently 8wks and 5 days, and had my first prenatal appointment. My partner was not allowed to come into the doctors office with me during this appointment. Fortunately, this appointment consisted of only speaking with the OB and no ultrasounds were done. When I brought up my concerns about my boyfriend (the father) not being able to come in they explained that it was policy due to COVID and he will most likely not be able to come into the office for any of my appointments. Meaning he will miss every ultrasound and hearing our baby’s heart beat for the first time. This has caused a lot of frustration and several other emotions, being as this is our first child. Is anyone else experiencing this??
