Tacky gift?
My husband is an apprentice electrician. He has most tools that he would use for his job but there are a few more things he’s mentioned he needs and I was going to get them for him for Christmas.
Well our dishwasher broke down and he mentioned he could check a couple of the parts of which 2 are on the spendy side if he had this specific tool which was one of the ones I’ve bought for him. Is it tacky to give it to him early so he can fix our dishwasher?? I called a repair guy and he wanted to charge $200 just to diagnose. Plus parts and labor 🤦♀️ I’m pretty sure I could probably follow a YouTube and fix it myself, I could probably even do it without my husband knowing I used his tool I just don’t want to throw down on multiple parts if I could find out exactly what it was before ordering
