announcement reactions

how do you deal with people having bad/upset reactions to your pregnancy announcement ? my whole family was very excited and loving and made us feel great when we announced. however, my in laws haven’t been as happy. so far we only told my husbands mother and little sister, and their reactions weren’t terrible but they definitely weren’t excited. his older sister and brother will be here for christmas which is when we planned on telling them. his mom has already said she thinks his older sister is going to be jealous. i already know they will have not nice things to say and even though i shouldn’t care, i do and i just don’t know how to handle this.
