Plane ride ??? Met someone

Sooo I had a 5 hour plane ride next to a lovely gentleman and would love to be friends with him as he is so funny… we are both  married and I have a 5 year old who was on the plane at the time.
Is this appropriate ?

Nope. If you were trying to pursue my husband for a friendship after a plane ride where he was friendly and funny, I'd make sure you knew you needed to get lost.

That’s cool in all that y’all kept the plane ✈️ ride a little interesting by laughing talking about life or whatever but, should it go to keeping in contact with one another ask yourself if your husband was giggly and so forth with a lady on a 5 hour flight and wanted her number to stay in touch and just be friends what would you say be honest?
You had a moment and experienced hours of a different type of man then your husband and you liked it but that’s the thing it might not be cool for long term
Not saying married women or married men can’t have opposite sex friends majority of us do and are in relationships but, it depends on your partner or spouse if they are okay with it unless you just do want you want and get his number and have you a new friend I guess it’s not like y’all can meet up he in another state right?

I wouldn’t be okay with my husband becoming buddy buddy with someone from one plane ride🤷🏻‍♀️ it’s odd to me. I also wouldn’t be looking to stay in contact with someone I had conversation with on a plane.

I stray away from having male friends because I find that it’s easy for them to crush on me or for me to start crushing. I want to keep my relationship free of any risks of cheating. It works for me.
In your case. If you feel you won’t start comparing the way he makes you feel with your partner and if your partner will be okay with your friendship, it may be fine. But I’d have your partner meet him to help make boundaries clear.
