spotting 11 weeks

so im 11 weeks and 2 days and i have a scan in tuesday but i just went toilet and had the tiniest bit of spotting. like tiny. but i was wondering what this could be? it wasnt enough to re-wipe and see where so i couldnt even tell if it came from around the outside like a cut or the inside and it was actual spotting. really freakingout because last pregnancyi had spotting (a bit more than this and more frequent) and ended up losing the baby. i have call my midwife and they said to just keep an eye on it so just wanting some insight/experiences.
