What helped your toddlers who were sick with COVID?

My 2 year old turns 3 on Sunday and she’s incredibly sick we just came back from the er and turns out she has COVID.💔💔she doesn’t want to eat or drink anything and it’s been 2 days like this and the doctors knew and only gave her Motrin and that’s it. Didn’t offer an iv didn’t offer any other help. I can’t stand seeing her like this.😭

Hydration is what you need to be more worried about than food. I was able to convince my toddler to drink her Gatorade or pedialyte by offering it in the syringe. She loves drinking from the syringe when she’s sick. Also popsicles! Alternate Tylenol and ibuprofen.

Just try to keep getting her to drink for sure. Motrin and Tylenol back and fourth. Lots of warm baths! My daughter had it when she was one we put her in the bath 2 or 3 times a day and she was over it fast by day 3 couldn’t hardly tell she was sick!
