Mini pill help

Has anyone here had experience with the mini pill? Notethindrone is the actual pharmaceutical name. I started taking it on Dec 2nd, on Dec 7th I start bleeding and assumed it was a period. It’s now Dec 17th and I’m still bleeding. Is this normal with the pill? I haven’t taken birth control in about 15 years and didn’t have a good experience with it back then either. My normal periods are usually pretty quick, like less than 7 days, but it’s been 10 days of moderate to heavy bleeding. Does anyone have advice or was this normal for you?
