So how do you know when your ovulating??

I ordered a bbt thermometer.. so I can avoid getting pregnant. So I kno the best time to not have sex unless I use protection. But how would I know??! Will my temp increase when I’m ovulating or decrease ??!!

You should see a sustained temp increase once you've ovulated - once you see that, you're fine to have sex until your period. Depending on the length of your cycles, you might not want to have sex after that until you've ovulated again. It's always a bit risky as you might not ovulate when you expect to.

You don't always get a decrease at ovulation (before it shoots up). Either way, you will have to wait for the temperature spike (and sustained high temps for 3 days) to know for sure if you ovulated.

I first took ovulation test on cycle day 6 on cycle day 8 I got my :-) on cycle day 10 when I ovulated so I was testing everyday

Using bbt will only confirm when ovulation has already happened and isn’t a contraception. If you trying to avoid getting pregnant the best option is to get on some form of birth control x
