97yr old woman convicted for her part in the Nazi regime in Germany

I saw this article this morning. Of course, read the accompanying FB comments. A lot of people think it was a waste of time and money considering her age. Personally, I support bringing Nazis to Justice regardless of age, because even if she only spends 2 months in prison before passing, she at least knows she did not get away with it. What are your thoughts?
