Birth Control BS

I am so sick and tired of being handed birth control for every issue I have with my cycle. My period had been irregular since it started up until I had my daughter. I wasn't able to nurse, so my midwife prescribed bc to regulate my hormones enought to make milk, but only for 1 month. I was on it for that 1 month, and it took 5 months to get a "period" back that was actually a very early miscarriage at 4 weeks. Haven't gotten another period in 2 months since that happened. I had been on bc previously, and it took years, multiple early losses, and a missed miscarriage for my cycle to regulate enough to conceive my daughter. On top of that, I wanted to start ttc for baby #2, and I can't track anything properly since everything's so messed up. I'm just extremely frustrated.
