Do you count your peak fertility test day as ovulation day?

So if I got a peak fertility result yesterday, and the two from today are both lower, would that mean I ovulated yesterday? When am I considered 1dpo?

Temps are more reliable than OPKs - I count my last day before my temp rise as ovulation day, and the day before that is my most fertile. I haven't been using OPKs long, but 2-O was when I got my peak last cycle.

No. Very few people ovulate same day as miosis takes  from 24 to 36 hours and only very rarely 12. However keep in mind that your true peak is delayed in the urine and occurs faster in blood stream. I learnt this the hard way as my morning lh strip was nearly positive but not positive yet. Hour and half later at my follicular scan the follicle was starting to collapse one side and we 23 mm and when the check blood lh it was the crazy level of 101. So I was having the peak in my bloodstream but it was hours away to show in urine. Some people have short and very spiky lh surge some have double less sharp raise and some just have platou. You really can only know you ovulated after temperature raises or you get scan and progesterone testing. Your peak fertile day is not ovulation day it is the day of lh surge as the sperm needs to get there. Some people test twice morning and evening but lh is tricky it tends to raise between 4 am and 8 am then takes time to show in urine. You are better off baby dancing any other day from cd7 to cd21.

Technically the day after you get your first positive opk is when you should ovulate so 1 DPO would be 2 days after your first positive, technically.
