dark brown spotting/light bleeding

okay so. my last actual period was nov 17-21. dec 2-5 I had dark brown spotting/light bleeding, not enough to fill a pad but there when I wipe.

today I thought I started AF a week late, but I notice its just dark brown spotting again. not bright red or anywhere near as heavy as my periods are...should I consider this a period?🧐

edit: I took a test right before I noticed AF this morning. I believe it was negative. I kind of disregarded it once I noticed some blood when I wiped. should I take another?
