Tired of not getting complimented

Me and my husband been together for 5 years but for the past 2 years he has NEVER genuinely complimented me. I have to ask him hey how does this look, what do think about this blouse, etc… i feel i deserve MORE, to be complimented MORE, to feel APPRECIATED more. We have talked about it and all he tells me is “I’m sorry im not like that.” But i remember how he used to compliment me in the beginning of our relationship. Sometimes he tells me “ we are together already i dont think i have to try anymore since you’re mine already”
