Prodromal labor = fast labor?

Question

Has anyone had weeks of prodromal labor before delivering?
If so, did you have a quick true labor?
I’ve had 4 weeks of prodromal labor now. It’s been so hard. And I’m just praying it means the real thing is quick. I’m so ready to meet this baby

Not necessarily my friend had prodromal labor and when the time came she was laboring almost 48 hours in hospital and then her dr realized baby won’t be able to come on his own and gave her an emergency c-section

I had it for weeks with my fourth pregnancy, second baby. I got to the hospo 4-5 cm with a bulging bag of water. Sat in triage for an hour waiting for a room. Got out room and 45 mins later I was pushing. 3 pushes and he was out. Didn't even have time for pain meds. 
I was induced with pitocin with my second pregnancy, first baby. From 2 cm to pushing was about 5 1/2 hrs. OB thinks if we try for another I may be giving birth at home (45 mins from the hospo on a good day)

I had padromal labor for 4-5 weeks with my first and I labored a pretty long time.  I wish I could say it was quick, but maybe I’m the odd one out!
