Long story but I’ll try to shorten it…… I’ve had a emergency C-section in 2021. My ob told me that I could have a vaginal or another c section next time. He recently told me that with this baby I have to do a scheduled c section or deliver in a bigger hospital (which is 1-2+ hours away since I live in a small town, he is 38mins away from me). He said that my son’s birth was to traumatic (which it was but he shouldn’t have said I could do either after my son was born and then switch up 1 year later). I can’t lay there and be cut open due to my anxiety, ptsd, and depression. Also epidurals don’t work on my back I’ve had three and none of them worked. I also have back problems and got epidural shots and they didn’t work.. I would change ob’s but there isn’t anyone able to take me or too far away.

Please share your experience having it done while being awake? Do you have anxiety if so how did you manage while being on the table? Did you feel, hear or see anything ?
