CD 21 progesterone test a day early?

Quick question in regards to cd 21 progesterone test, am I able to go a day early (cd 21), or will this alter the results?

My cd 21 landed on Christmas she told me to wait this cd 23 to test. Not earlier. Hope that’s helpful

It depends on when you ovulated. Ideally you have it done 7dpo.
