after I got my implant removed (almost 2 months ago) my first period was normal. my period this time is extremely heavy (bleed through a normal tampon every 2 hours and drip blood during tampon/pad replacement) and it is very painful. i’ve never experienced a period like this before, my flow has never once been this heavy or painful. the obgyn said my hormones would take time to get back to normal but should it take this long? is this period after removing my nexplanon be like this? should I go to the obgyn about this? (I work 6 days a week and have to earn my sick days, every 30 hours worked is 1 hour of sick leave earned (it sucks I hate it so much) so scheduling an obgyn appointment is very inconvenient for me, so i’d like to know if this is normal before scheduling one.
