Whoopi Goldberg has decided to repeat her race remarks about the Holocaust. Jews are not a race however we are an ethnicity and a religion. As much as my skin is white, I’m not white, I’m Jewish. Jews still experience a ridiculous amount of hate crime compared to how many Jews are in the world. Anti-semitism still exists in the work place. You are less likely to get a job when your Jewish. We don’t exist at the same level as white non Jewish people. I absolutely understand that to some level I experience white privilege but that doesn’t means it’s okay to minimise the Jewish experience especially in America. Whether Whoopi likes it or not the Holocaust was about race. Hitler targeted the Jewish race. We didn’t really get a choice with what Hitler called us.
