I feel like there’s a lot of love on this app for the Depends diapers, but I tried them and personally, I liked the mesh undies with pads much more! But I think it’s very individual.

I used the mesh ones they provide while I was in the hospital, along with VERY loose soft pants. At home I used depends. The name brand depends and Always are softer than Walmart brand. I didn’t bleed more than a week or so. If one thing doesn’t feel comfortable to you, send hubby out for something else. Everyone has different preferences. Just take it easy and rest. Let everyone else help with cooking, dishes, etc. You’ll bleed more if you over do it.

Motherhood maternity makes c section panties that are the greatest invention. Get 2 pair and wear a huge pad in them it’s way better than the mesh panties. I still wear mine when I’m on my period 😉

Mesh underwear!! I wished I would have taken more from the hospital, they didn’t irritate my incision at all. All of the underwear I tried rubbed on it a little bit and it was tender and uncomfortable.

My favorite were the frida mom disposable underwear, but definitely not necessary. The mesh underwear from the hospital were just fine and then after about a week or so I preferred high waisted underwear (motherhood maternity from Amazon) with a pad.

I wore the mesh ones while in the hospital. Once I got home I wire the Always brand depends. For a few weeks then switched over to high waisted underwear. I'm 7 weeks pp and still wearing high waisted underwear but I stopped bleeding at 5 weeks. My stomach is still sore and regular underwear is uncomfortable on my incision even though it doesn't hurt
