New years

Is it bad I want to spend new years by myself ? My entire friends and family are having a party but I don’t want to attend , I just want to be at home relaxing on my own . I don’t know what to tell them because my roommate will be there . My brothers and sister will be there and I feel bad but I really don’t want to be around a ton of people . I absolutely love being by myself
