Abnormal period Please Help!

Okay so my period was regular and lasted it’s normal cycle days from Dec. 12-15. I was feeling normal and was just fine but feeling some cramps because my ovulation week was coming on Dec. 21, instead I started spotting and had brown discharge like when your period is ending. A couple of days later I started bleeding but light like a very light period but would sometimes gush out when I’m peeing this lasted until Dec. 28 and has gotten heavier like a normal period as well as small blood clots. Has anyone experienced this before or can help explain if this is normal or am I experiencing a miscarriage?
