Discharge do not mean anything let alone it can’t tell you if you did ovulate! All cm says if you cm is healthy or not or if you see ewcm you have the best cm for sprem to last in which you can see at any stage in your cycle and not ovulate. As you aren’t tracking you have 0 idea of if or when you are actually ovulating. Also cervix checks gives you higher risk for infection and is not advised (told by my 4 fertility drs)

I understand what you are saying but some women ( like me) can use CM as an indicator as my CM is always on track with what the health care providers have said to me. When I'm due to ovulate ( also used OPKs to help ) I always have alot of EWCM! I'm not saying it means you definitely ovulate but I know it's a fact that the reason for your CM changing is because your hormones are changing so there for, for most women you can track your cycles with your CM as its great indicators of where abouts you are in your cycle

It is true been told by 4 fertility drs you can see ewcm and not be ovulating which is actually what happens to me I never see ewcm around ovulation only 1-2 days before ovulation. Ewcm only means your cm is at the best stage for sprem to last in and can be seen when not ovulating. You can’t use cm to determine when or if you are ovulating
