Only abdominal U/S done for dating U/S, not transvaginal- weird?

Hey ladies. I have a question. Is it weird to only have an abdominal ultrasound done for a dating ultrasound? This is my 4th baby, and for all my other kids when I have a dating ultrasound done, they do the abdominal first, then you go pee because you’re bursting, then you get a transvaginal one done and they get a super close look at the baby.

When I went a couple weeks ago, they only did an abdominal one. She did show me the heartbeat (i was 7 weeks at the time), but the report I learned today came back inconclusive because it said the baby was too small to get an accurate gestational age. My doctor said not to worry but of course I am lol. This was also done at a different place than I usually go.

Any experience or thoughts is appreciated!
