3 month old teething and fussy

So my son is teething and very fussy because of it and also going through a growth spurt. I can’t lay him down without him fussing, I can’t play with him. nothing. He’s always fussy. He’s eating every 2 hours again instead of the 4 hours he was doing. He barely takes naps during the day and when he does it’s only for 10-20 minutes.

What do I do? I was told not to use numbing gel on his teeth because of risk of choking. I’m at my wits end here.
