CBC question for docs and nurses
I have kind of a weird question. I am an endurance athlete training for a marathon. I had blood work done recently for fatigue and appetite loss and my WBC came back low. Here's the stats that were low:
WBC: 3.6
MPV: 7.2
Neutrophil: 43.4%
Neutro absolute: 1.55
eFGR: 86
My doc has ordered some more blood work for autoimmune disorders. My question is this - is there a chance my high mileage running is lowering my WBC? Hoping that's all it is. Currently I'm waiting for my autoimmune results and I'm very anxious.
