Is spotting normal ? I’m ten weeks & a day

Question

Well the dr that checked me said the implantation bleeding is when your next period should start & that it’s not implantation so I have no idea wat it is. It’s been happening the last 3 or 4 days when I wipe and it’s pinkish looking almost as if my periods coming on. Any ideas what this could be?
Baby’s heart beat was at 170 and very strong from wat dr said

You need to call your on/dr and book in for scans and bloods to make sure everything is ok. Unfortunately we can’t say what it might be as it could be nothing or could be something. I’m hoping for the best for you

I’ll say it like this, spotting for days while pregnant isn’t “normal” but it doesn’t always bean something is wrong. There are plenty of normal reasons why a person might spot or bleed, some of which are very minuscule. However, your doctor definitely needs to be made aware. Having had a spontaneous complete placental abruption, I’m not sure if I’m biased or what, but your doctor can investigate and intervene if what you’re experiencing comes from something that they’re able to see and measure. Just my 2 cents! ❤️

7wks today and I spot every time i have sex and after a transvag ultrasound. It typically starts the day after and lasts about 3 days.  Doesn't fill a panty liner but definitely noticeable. My nurse said it's most likely my cervix.  Had my first us on Monday and everything looked good. You'll want to mention it to your doctor or nurse but no need to panic unless your bleeding heavily.

I am 9 weeks and have also been spotting for days. It’s not very much and it’s dark brown (like old blood). My OB also told me the same things (could be caused by sex, straining, transvaginal ultrasound) and assured me everything is okay. I had a miscarriage in September so I totally understand it’s so unsettling even if they say it’s okay

Spotting CAN BE normal… but that doesn’t mean that it is. It can be breakthrough bleeding or irritation from your cervix (your cervix is crabby when pregnant and things that can cause spotting can include sex, transvaginal ultrasounds, straining to have a bowel movement, lifting something heavy, etc) 
That said, always best to check with your Dr
