How long after twins did you feel like yourself again ?

I’m about 3.5 years into my parenting journey with my twins and I still don’t feel like my old self. I’m wondering if you ever feel like yourself or do you always just feel differently since becoming a mother. I’m not sure if that makes any sense at all.

After my singleton it took me a year and a half to feel even remotely close to myself again and now I’m pregnant with twins. I struggled with severe PPD and I’m terrified to go through it again. I always have to remind myself I am more than just a mom. 💞

My twins are turning 1 next week. I guess i still have a few years before i start feeling myself again (hopefully sooner!)

I’m a new twin mom, four months old, but I talked with another twin mom I met at a doctors office when my babies were only three weeks old and she said that it didn’t really get easy having twins until they were four years old (they are now five and in kindergarten). She said that that’s when it felt way to go places again and she felt more like her old self again. I know it’s different for everyone, but I thought I’d share what another mom shared with me 😉
