Boundaries after birth

How do you set boundaries after baby is born? My in laws are already planning to come to town a week before my induction date which is already stressing me out because I will want that last week to get everything prepared and relax without having company. I also want a couple days at home just us before we have visitors. It’s like people don’t understand that I will be in pain, bleeding, recovering, exhausted, overwhelmed etc and the last thing I want is to have company immediately. I understand it is their first grand baby and they are excited and I don’t want to be a bitch my making them wait a few days to meet her but come on. How can I set a boundary? I am also worried about visitors with all the illnesses going around right now. I honestly don’t want anyone near her at first but I know I can’t do that. How is everyone handling that?
