Omg… let me search this!
The fact no one truly explains the following is wild:
1. You can be very dry during your first trimester. My skin, scalp and lips were ashy! And I have been drinking water like a fish!
2. You know how you’re like “oh my boobs are sore” when your cycle is about to start? Well pregnancy boobs are literally that feeling x100. Slight movements, laying on them, or walking to the bathroom in the middle of the night after your boobs have done this weird swelling thing….Omg 😳…. My boobs are screaming!
3. The ligament pain you can experience is scary, and it feels like it shouldn’t happen, but also you reach a point during first trimester where you’re like “hmmm 🤔🤔 I don’t really feel pregnant” but then a random symptom comes and lets you know something down there is still working!
4. TTC is a wild journey, you have been basically sworn to secrecy, yet you want to tell the world you’re expecting.
5. Mouth watering is a thing. And it has nothing to do with the sensation of vomiting!
6. Being such a negative Nancy is a normal feeling. You fixate on all the bad that could happen. But then you say “I’m not going to put that negativity in the universe” Lolol. I’m so guilty of literally thinking of every bad scenario that could happen in this pregnancy. Instead of enjoying it and taking to day by day.
7. The amount of times you pee in the first trimester is wild!!! Water in 10mins later, water out!
8. Being tired or sleepy during the first trimester is a whole job. Sleep, rest, do whatever!
9. Going to bed at 9-10pm and waking up around 2-4am. After you woke up 3 times during the night to go pee! Like what are we getting up so early for? A nice 6 am wake up will suffice!
I’m sure I have more things that have happened to me so far during my first 8 weeks, but the way I used the search bar in this app 😂😂😂… I figured I could validate another mothers mind!
Happy healthy pregnancy to all!!!
