Pregnancy test

I have a question ladies! So I took a test the day after my period was due, and showed up positive on a test, I have taken at least one a day for the past 4 days, and had some symptoms prior to taking the first test, and have most early pregnancy symptoms now except for morning sickness, however, I’ve been drinking a lot more water, and I’m wondering if that can affect the darkness of the line on pregnancy tests? I have my doctor appointment on Saturday for blood, and a week and a half later for ultrasound, but I’m an over thinker…
