Short of breath laying down ?

I’m 17 weeks and 4 days anybody else short of breath when lying down ?

I’ve been short of breath with standing, laying etc since 19 weeks. I spoke to my doctor this week and she said around this point the baby has expanded from our pelvis, and pushes up on the diagram which pretty much keeps us in a hyperventilatory state making us short of breath because we can’t exhale all the carbon dioxide. Im pretty miserable at times but for myself, standing, laying on the left and running/walking helps gravity push her down. Good luck!  getting close to the finish line..

Yes. They tell you not to lay on your back after 28 weeks bc your uterus puts pressure on a really large vein that provides oxygen to you and baby. When I lay on my back for too long I get lightheaded. For me that was around 20 weeks. Once it starts getting uncomf, you should sleep w lots of pillows on an incline or on your side. Pregnancy pillows can help
