What is a reasonable time to wait for a reply to an email
Before following up again.
I'm in the middle of a legal issue (I am in the right) and I was asked to send my motivations to the other party's lawyers two weeks ago already. The other party were very quick to get their lawyers on me when they thought I was in the wrong - literally within a day of my dealing with them for the last time.
I sent a follow up last week and was told by the lawyers they're meeting with the other people last Wednesday and I'll have feedback thereafter.
I had no feedback and so sent another follow up on Tuesday. Still no feedback. I want to send another mail later today, once the 48 hour mark has passed, but I'm not sure if I'm being impatient or not.
However this lack of communication is part of the reason why it's turned into a legal issue to begin with so I don't think I'm being too impatient, especially considering how quick they were to be getting their lawyers on me.
