Does this look like pink eye? He has an appointment later today to check it out but I'm hoping it's not as I also have a 6 y/o, 2 y/o, and 6 week old.

The whites of his eyes are not pink/red. But he's got some swelling and bags underneath his eyes. Has woke up the past two mornings with thick crust on his eyes. And had some yellow/green discharge throughout the afternoon yesterday.

He's 4 but he is autistic and nonverbal so if there are any symptoms that aren't visibly obvious, I wouldn't know about them. So I have no idea if his eyes itch/burn/etc. No fever or anything. Just discharge in his eyes and bags/minor swelling.

Edit - Pediatrician confirmed my suspicions of pink eye. Poor kid doesn't do well with oral medications so I suspect we're really going to have a tough time with these eye drops. Not going to be fun trying to prevent the spread but he's not social and does not like playing with or cuddling with his brothers or newborn sister so it won't be as difficult to prevent the spread as it would have been with my 2 y/o ig. And luckily he isn't running fever and is his normal happy self. Glad he doesn't feel as terrible as he looks rn.
