on the treadmill after having an uncomplicated vaginal birth? baby is 6 days old today, just light walking nothing crazy. it's too cold & snowy to go outside

Ask you doctor to be safe. I was walking the day I left thr hospital because my ob told me to just listen to my body and to not over do it. Always best to ask your ob though as everyone is different.

Loads of women in Europe walk home from the hospital... honestly unless you had a traumatic birth, you'll be fine. I walked 6 miles when my son was 4 days old

Whenever you feel comfortable. With both my babies I was out walking by 4 days PP I just didn't go far.

Unless your doctor recommended against it listen to your body. Start with a lazy walk for just a few minutes, if your bleeding increases you are doing way too much. Light walking (DO NOT PUSH IT YET) is good for you!

I did light exercise immediately and was on my feet. I’ve had two natural unmedicated uncomplicated vaginal deliveries. If your bleeding increases suddenly, you feel dizzy/faint, or sick, you’re doing too much ❤️
