What woukd you do?
In January I had an ectopic pregnancy. It was extremely difficult. My OBGYN didn’t listen to my concerns. I felt that something was wrong. I ended up in the ER and was seen by another OBGYN. She was great! Very nice, comforting, & listened to my concerns.
Fast forward to now, I’m hurting on my right side where the pregnancy was. It’s not bad pain but there is pain when my husband and I have sex. It’s an uncomfortable pain. There is a small 2cm cyst on my right ovary but she doesn’t feel like it should be causing pain. I started birth control to help with shrinking it, I’ve been on it about 3 weeks. She told she feels it hasn’t been long enough for it to help. She wants me to give it some more time and then we will do an ultrasound in 2 months to check.
My friends all think I need a second opinion. They don’t think I should wait. I have no idea what to do??? Should I go for a second opinion? What would you do?
