I’ll be traveling 20 minutes one way, and it’ll probably take about 3-4 hours to clean this place. I was thinking $180 since I am just venturing out. I don’t want to low ball myself but I also don’t want to charge too much. Most places around here charge way more than that, but they are established businesses, or individuals with returning and regular clientele! Thanks so much! I live in a more rural area. Closest largest City is 22 miles away, with the population being about 150,000. The size of the business is about 2800 sq ft.

Commerical cleaning companies either go by the hour whicg can be as low as $30 an hour for some companies to $125 an hour. They can also go by square ft which is ususlly 5 cents to 20 cents a sq ft. Then cost can also vary by if you have to provide supplies and materials or if they are all provided and on site. Often you can charge a supply fee or add money to the hr/sq ft rate if you have to bring your own supplies. Usually travel doesnt matter unless if is way out of an area. My mom does commercial cleqning as a side business and this is the normal practices for pay most often. I dont think what your charking is outrageous but if you are trying to start a business make the rate now and charge it. I would not charge a flat fee but if you are assuming 4 hrs at $180 just say $45 an hour because it is transparent and easy for clients to know what their fee is.

$180-$200 is a good price for a Basic or Even Premium Cleaning service! You can also offer returning customers some sort of incentive for choosing your service like leaving fresh flowers or even candies something simple but uplifting

I haven’t done corporate transactions but I paid someone $60/hr to unpack my moving boxes. That was the going rate, I contacted 3 people.
